“Ki Tetzi”– teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa teaches parsha “Ki Tetzi” this week, from Deuteronomy 21:10 through all of chapter 25.

The Erev Shabbat overview teaching is a look at probably THE most “concentrated” group of decidedly NOT ‘politically-correct’ commandments and instructions in the whole Torah. No wonder so many of us have been taught that not only has it been “done away with”, but it didn’t matter anyway.

And the more we hear lies like that, the more important it is to “search out” the Scripture for ourselves, and see what the Truth is.

SSM Ki Tetzi 2017

The Sabbath Day teaching this week continues that theme, and even includes a bit more “Markology” than usual. (In other words, “your mileage may vary”. When it comes to the question of “WHY?” Scripture often gives us a number of dots…Mark’s understanding is one way to connect them. See for yourself regarding the pattern, and the consistency.)

But the bottom line is undeniable, even if most of This World chooses to deny it:

Ki Tetzi: Father Knows Best!
