“Noach ”– teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa for a two-part look at one or two of THE most well-known stories in the Bible. But it turns out there far more that isn’t…

The Erev Shabbat overview teaching is a look at all of parsha “Noach” (Genesis 6:9 – 11:32) — and includes a lot of those parts that are typically “glossed over.”

SSM Noach 2017

The Sabbath Day teaching is a bit different this week: FAR more outright “speculation” than usual. But, sometimes that helpful when it comes to “iron sharpening iron” – so long as we call it what it is, and pay close attention to what IS Written in the process.

After all, if part of the idea is to wrap our heads around what “as wit was in the time of Noah” means, how better?
