Parsha “Korach”– teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for this week’s teaching of “Korah,” (Numbers chapters 16 through 18) primarily about the most famous “rebellion” in Scripture (with the possible exception of Genesis chapter 3… 😉 )

The Erev Shabbat overview lays out the story, the effects, and some of the key ‘characteristics’ of rebellion to the authority of YHVH, His anointed, and His Word – once expressed ‘in person,’ now largely Written.

SSM “Korach” for 2018 Torah cycle

The Sabbath Day teaching this week takes a deeper look at the whole subject of “rebellion” – and the important related questions that help us understand “against WHO?”

And in this context Mark also takes a look at what may be one of THE most-twisted sets of verses in all of Scripture:

Romans 13, especially from the GIV Bible (Government Inspired Version)

“Korach: Don’t confuse him with Moses”
