(Parsha &#8220;Bo,&#8221; Exodus 10:1 through 13:16)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>These teachings are available live each week via Paltalk, in the &#8220;Walking Torah with Shabbat Shalom Mesa&#8221; room (interactively, via www.paltalk.com) and also simulcast at<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/cp3.shoutcheap.com:2199\/start\/lindcall\/<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Erev Shabbat overview begins with the final two plagues in the &#8220;three sets&#8221;, locusts, and darkness which can &#8220;even be felt,&#8221; and culminates with the unique, separately-prophesied death of the firstborn. Oh, and there&#8217;s a pretty detailed description of the &#8220;prototype&#8221; &#8212; the first Pesach (&#8220;Passover&#8221;) &#8212; in there, too, even though much of churchianity prefers to ignore the part where He says, over and over even, to remember it, teach it, and keep it, &#8220;<em>throughout your generations<\/em>,&#8221; as a &#8220;chukat olam,&#8221; or <em>statute <strong>forever<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.waytozion.org\/teachings\/mark_call\/2018\/SSM-1-19-18-Bo.mp3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SSM Bo 2018<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Sabbath Day teaching this week again examines in greater detail just a few of the major &#8216;themes&#8217; in this parsha, from those final plagues to at least a few of the concepts in the haftorah (Jeremiah chapter 47)&#8230;<br \/>\n&#8230;to the somewhat fascinating idea of darkness which can even be felt.
