The historic day of Tisha B’Av on the Hebrew Calendar is this week, so the Torah parsha should ‘traditionally’ be Debarim, the first in the Book by that same name, aka, Deuteronomy.<\/p>\n

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for this week’s teaching of that parsha, “Devarim,” (Deuteronomy chapters 1 through chapter 3), where the narrative shifts from “<em>and YHVH said to Moses<\/em>,” to what Moses himself spoke in the last month of his life.<\/p>\n

The Erev Shabbat overview begins with a recap of the journey of the B’nai Israel since their deliverance from Egypt, but largely takes the form of a ‘gentle rebuke.’<\/p>\n
