Parsha Debarim (Deb\/Deut. 1:1 through 3:22) is of course the first parsha in the fifth and final Book in the Torah, and consists of ‘the Words’ that Moshe spoke unto “kol Israel,” and thus all of us, in what amoounts not only to his “Farewell Address,” but a summary of the ‘teaching and instruction’ of thw whole. This is the introduction to that foundational teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
