{"id":2495,"date":"2022-10-22T21:22:29","date_gmt":"2022-10-23T03:22:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2495"},"modified":"2022-10-22T21:22:29","modified_gmt":"2022-10-23T03:22:29","slug":"parsha-bereshiet-teaching-from-shabbat-shalom-mesa-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2495","title":{"rendered":"Parsha \u201cBereshiet\u201d teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At the conclusion of His Fall Feasts, it&#8217;s time to turn back again to the Beginning, and the Book of Genesis, aka &#8220;Bereshiet&#8221; and the first Book AND Torah parsha in the Torah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The parsha for this week &#8212; IN the Beginning, Bereshiet (Gen. 1:1 through 6:8) is arguably one of the most FUNDAMENTAL of them all; the Foundation, upon which what follows rests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sequence again begins with the Erev Shabbat reading:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/SSM-10-21-22-Bereshiet-teaching-only-podcast-xxx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so many vitally important themes in this first part of Scripture, and so many elements and concepts, that are all introduced &#8220;in the Beginning.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the theme that must stand out &#8220;at such a time as this&#8221; is Authority.
