Parsha Lekh Lekhah (Gen. 12:1 &#8211; 17:27) begins with the words which begin his journey of obedience and blessing: &#8220;Come out&#8221; of your country, your home, your father&#8217;s house; basically, everything you&#8217;ve known, and go to a land that I will show you\u2026when you get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And how&#8217;s THAT for a step of faith?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sequence again begins with the Erev Shabbat reading:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/SSM-11-4-22-Lekh-Lekhah-teaching-podcast-xx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The First Patriarch in Scripture, and literally the &#8216;father of the faith,&#8217; for all who follow, is the subject of more ink in the Torah than any who preceded him.
