In Matthew 7:13-14, Yahushua tells us that the “way which leads to destruction is broad,” while “narrow is the gate, and difficult the way which leads to life,” which is why “few that be who find it.”

Which is decidedly NOT the message most hear from a church that declared so many of those not-PC commandments “done away with,” anyway. No wonder most choose to ignore His warning.

This parsha includes what He called to second most important commandment, too: “love your neighbor as yourself.” But it’s the CONTEXT there that, by omission, is just as vital to our understanding. Time for some tough, but vital, questions.

And so much of that is vital today, as neighbor is being turned against neighbor, and ‘bad faith’ replaces what was once “hospitality”. How do we walk that narrow path?

“Acharei Mot / Kedoshim: the Narrow Path”

The combined two-part podcast is here, via Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship.

Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa’s 2023 Torah cycle teachings for double-parsha Acharei Mot / Kedoshim and related Scripture. Continue reading →

[5,1665,151,11,12
368,1092,1829,1831,576,75,1833,1832,1830
