Not only is it &#8220;maximally politically IN-correct&#8221; &#8211; which itself speaks volumes &#8211; but it contains more &#8216;statutes, judgments, and commandments&#8217; than just about any other parsha in the Torah, with the possible exception of Mishaptim itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, as Mark explains in the Erev Shabbat study, it is the fact that there are so many CONTRASTS with what &#8216;the world&#8217; now teaches in direct contradiction to what is here that should warn us about just where and when we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/SSM-8-25-23-Ki-Tetzi-its-the-CONTRAST-long-teaching-podcast-xxx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Erev Shabbat reading and commentary of the entire parsha tells us why it matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the midrash that follows, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa builds on the theme that, &#8220;It&#8217;s the CONTRAST!&#8221;  with an initial hypothesis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is, he contends, NO LONGER possible for a &#8216;revival&#8217; to save a world, or even a nation, that merely revives a whore church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the proof is here.
