{"id":2856,"date":"2025-06-29T06:32:54","date_gmt":"2025-06-29T12:32:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2856"},"modified":"2025-07-06T07:46:29","modified_gmt":"2025-07-06T13:46:29","slug":"torah-teaching-for-parsha-korach-from-mark-call-of-shabbat-shalom-mesa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2856","title":{"rendered":"Torah Teaching for Parsha \u201cKorach\u201d from Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa Fellowship for a two-part study of the Torah parsha reading for this week, is &#8220;Korach,&#8221; (Numbers chapters 16 through 18) and the infamous rebellion which bears that name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Erev Shabbat reading:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/WT-CooH-6-27-25-Korach-Rebellion-teaching-podcast-xx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By now, perhaps it should be no surprise that Scripture sets the stage for events in the world. And, &#8220;rightly divided,&#8221; also reveals when passages have been &#8220;twisted,&#8221; or even inverted to suit the &#8216;prince of this world, and his big-brother servants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story of Korach is about a rebellion. To Moses, specifically, but certainly to YHVH as well. And the story proves that point conclusively. But, still,<br><strong>Korach: &#8220;This was MOSES, fer cryin&#8217; out loud!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aren&#8217;t there more subtle issues when the question of &#8216;rebellion&#8217; isn&#8217;t so clear-cut, and when it&#8217;s not so blatantly obvious that the rebellion is against His anointed?
