{"id":2953,"date":"2026-04-05T06:52:26","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T12:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2953"},"modified":"2026-04-05T06:52:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-05T12:52:26","slug":"torah-teaching-for-parsha-tzav","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2953","title":{"rendered":"Torah Teaching for Parsha \u201cTzav\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Parsha &#8220;Tzav,&#8221; (Lev. 6 through 8) continues the instruction concerning specific types of &#8216;sacrifices&#8217; and &#8216;offerings,&#8217; followed by the related process for sanctification of Aaron and his sons as <em>cohenim<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a stunning contrast here, too, since this is the timeframe of His &#8220;Appointed Times&#8221; or moedim, known as Pesach, or Passover, and followed by the week of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOT to be confused with re-naming the Most Important Event in Human History with a fake, pagan, abomination of a &#8216;fertility goddess.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for a provocative two-part look at the parsha, and a discussion that will no doubt offend many (as He did). But arguably not nearly as much as the issue so clearly offends Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might call it the unequivocally &#8220;NOT-Easter&#8221; Special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, the Erev Shabbat reading:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SSM-4-3-Tzav-teaching-podcast-xx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Sabbath Day midrash, Mark this week explores the stunning CONTRAST between those &#8216;offerings&#8217; and &#8216;sacrifices,&#8217; &#8212; which Scripture again emphasizes in such detail &#8212; and the Single Sacrifice which has since be re-named to something it is certainly not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is there no irony in the claim that the single &#8216;Final&#8217; and Ultimate Sacrifice has been renamed in an idolatrous celebration that invites the death penalty?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The haftorah reading begins with a warning that those who originally heard failed to heed. <em>&#8220;You trust in lying words\u2026&#8221; <\/em>said the prophet YermeYahu (Jeremiah). &#8220;Obey My voice,&#8221; He told them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They misunderstood &#8211; and ignored &#8211; the lesson of the &#8216;sacrifices&#8217; &#8211; and STILL DO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it is the lesson of Ezekiel chapters 8 and 9 that is most pertinent to the idolatry that is so pervasive today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tzav: &#8220;Lots of &#8216;offerings &#8211; ONE Sacrifice &#8211; Even More Abomination Now &#8211; and Little Discernment&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/WT-CooH-4-4-26-Tzav-Lots-of-Offerings-ONE-sacrifice-LOTS-of-pagan-abomination-but-little-discernment-NOT-easter-special-podcast-xxx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Service information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship worship services and teachings are broadcast live every Sabbath, via Paltalk.
