{"id":2956,"date":"2026-04-12T07:34:51","date_gmt":"2026-04-12T13:34:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2956"},"modified":"2026-04-12T07:34:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T13:34:51","slug":"torah-teaching-for-parsha-shemini","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/markniwot.com\/?p=2956","title":{"rendered":"Torah Teaching for Parsha \u201cShemini\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Parsha &#8220;Shemini,&#8221; (Leviticus chapters 9 through 11) is a &#8216;tour de force&#8217; of what we have been told is &#8220;old testament&#8221; and &#8220;done away with,&#8221; and the reasons why that is such a satanic lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story starts on the Eighth (or &#8216;Shemini&#8217;) day where YHVH tells Moshe and Aaron and the elders of Israel what must be done, as Aaron and his sons are consecrated to be <em>kohenim<\/em>, priests to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for a provocative two-part look at the parsha, and a discussion that will again, surprise some who have, like it or not, rejected His Word in favor of a pervasive Lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the Erev Shabbat reading lays that out in a manner that is hard to ignore:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/hebrewnationonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SSM-4-10-26-Shemini-teaching-podcast-xx.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Sabbath Day midrash, Mark suggests that the atbash, or set of literary brackets that surround the key element in the deaths of Nadab and Abihu (&#8220;there came forth fire from before YHVH, and CONSUMED\u2026&#8221;) also touch the very heart of the lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s all about eating, or consuming (the SAME Hebrew word, every time) and it surrounds people who were &#8220;nigh unto Me,&#8221; says YHVH. And the should have known better, but instead did that which He had NOT commanded.
