I don’t know why this never occurred to me before, but in hindsight it appears to be so obvious:<\/p>\n
the cup of the “wine of the wrath of her fornication<\/em>“, described in the hand of the harlot in Revelation chapter 18, is remarkably similar to\u00a0 the remedy for the jealous husband outlined in Numbers chapter 5:<\/p>\n “And [the priest] shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and the water that brings the curse shall enter her [to become] bitter.<\/em> “<\/em><\/p>\n And, of course, it has been obvious for some time that the harlot, with whom the “merchants of the earth have waxed rich<\/em>” through the “abundance of her luxury”, <\/em>but that eventually “no one buys their merchandise<\/em>” any more, is Amerika.<\/p>\n Even though that particular water seems to have become wine in the Book of Revelation, the penalty is still for her adultery\/idolatry.\u00a0 “For her sins have reached to heaven, and YHVH has remembered her [lawlessness].\u00a0 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.” <\/em>It gets worse for her, of course, because those plagues are followed by fire.<\/p>\n But the first question seems to become, ‘What does it look like when her thigh rots and her belly swells?”<\/p>\n It sounds like yet another good reason to “come out of her<\/em>“.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" There is an IMPORTANT connection between the “remedy for the jealous husband” in Numbers chapter 5 and the remedy for the Whore of Babylon.
