“B’har” – teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

This week’s Torah portion, “B’har,” is from Leviticus 25:1 to 26:2 and begins with the instruction, “WHEN you come into the land…”

The main question that seems to come from those who would prefer all this “Old [testament]” stuff to be “done away with” anyway is, “What POSSIBLE relevance, then, does any of this parsha have to the Church of What’s Happenin’ NOW? More than most who ignore His Word can imagine, particularly when it comes to the destruction now in progress:
