The Torah parsha for this week is the final installment in both the Book of Deuteronomy, thus the entire Torah, and the life of Moses: V’zot HaBrakah (Deuteronomy chapter 33 through the End of the Book.)

The Sabbath Day teaching this week — for reasons that will become obvious — is a bit more about ‘current events’ than usual. After all, this IS the final part of the final holy week of the Fall Feasts (and Sukkot, the time of the birth of the real Messiah) and it is characterized by a single primary commandment:
Rejoice!
But – given that we’re on the bring of global thermonuclear war, the biggest economic meltdown in our history, and engineered famine and pestilence to boot, some might wonder how that could work.
