Mark Call – “Kedoshim” – teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa from the mountains of southern Colorado for a look at this week’s Torah portion, “Kedoshim,” from Leviticus 19 and 20.

What the heck does it mean to be “holy”?

First, the Erev Shabbat teaching, where that question is answered directly, from “beginning to end” of the parsha.  And, this week, current events are a major part of that story:

Kedoshim SSM 2016

During the Sabbath Day teaching, Mark is even a bit more blunt than usual, because the topic demands nothing less. Sometimes if we desire to understand what it means to be “set apart”, it’s very helpful to know, “from WHAT?”

“Practical Holiness”

And the urgency has never been more obvious.
