The Sabbath Day teaching this week addresses one of THE central conflicts between both of the ‘idolatrous houses’ exiled for rebellion to YHVH, and the idea of ‘sacrifice’ that so often separates them. Both can be wrong, for different reasons. And if we do not understand why Scripture is SO specific about ‘korbon’, and the distinctions, we can – and have – “inherited lies from our fathers.”
