The Sabbath Day teaching begins by asking the question that almost always comes up first: Is Scripture REALLY saying that the “ends justify the means?” Perhaps there’s a good reason Genesis 27 is called one of the most “difficult” in the Torah.

But the real message here is one that is very consistent with the totality of His Word. It’s about discernment, and how sometimes even those walking out his promises can be blinded, even while the promise is right in front of them.
