“Vayechi”– teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

The Sabbath Day teaching this week looks at the end of the Book of Genesis, the prophetic blessings of the sons of Yakov, and what might even be called “post-Genesis GAP theory” —
just how did they end up in that kind of bondage anyway?

And can we see how elements that resulted in the northern kingdom (divided Israel) both splitting from Judah, and then ending in bondage and exile, ought to look so incredibly familiar.
