Parsha “Chukat” teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

Mark Call finally returns to Shabbat Shalom Mesa for the first live teachings since returning home from the lengthy hospitalization, and it is parsha “Chukat.” (Numbers chapters 19 through 21)

From the “enigma” of the Red Heiffer, to the mistake that cost Moshe his trip across the river into the land, there is a lot of vital material in here. But perhaps most interesting is the contention that Mark will explore; ultimately everything in here is about Death. And cleaning…and thus also a lot of things that either get “twisted” by the pagan traditions we “inherited from our fathers,” or ignored altogether.

First, the Erev Shabbat overview:

The Sabbath Day teaching:
“Chukat: It’s all about Death – and cleansing…”

The combined two-part teaching is here, via the Hebrew Nation Radio page.
