“Lech Lecha” – teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa for a study of the parsha “Lech Lecha” (Bereshiet/Genesis chapter 12 through 17).

  • Note: These are available every Shabbat during the on-line services at 6:30 PM Mountain Time, and the Sabbath Day teaching broadcast live via links in both Paltalk and Shoutcheap.

The Erev Shabbat teaching tells the story of the first of the Patriarchs, and the promises made through his seed.

SSM Lech Lecha 2016

The Sabbath Day teaching again addresses the “not-at-ALL-PC” elements of the portion — and their relevance to a world that makes pagan Canaan almost seem obedient — with the parallels between the first of the patriarchs and our situation, from circumcision to Saul (I Samuel 15).
