“Nitzavim/Vayelekh”– teaching from Shabbat Shalom Mesa

This week the annual Torah cycle begins to come to a close, with double-parsha “Netzavim/Vayelekh,” from Deuteronomy 29:10 through all of chapter 31.

The Erev Shabbat overview teaching reviews what Mark often calls not only one of his very favorite parts of Scripture, but also perhaps the most “compelling” single chapter in the Book.

And the reasons will be made clear!

The Sabbath Day teaching is a look at what may be one of the most fundamental issues that those who attempt to “come out of” the Whore Church — and, yes, that’s really the bottom line — have to deal with. What really IS different about a “Hebraic mindset”? And why does that same guy (Paul) who warns us about being fooled by “another jesus, whom we have NOT preached,” also say we need to “work out our own salvation with FEAR and TREMBLING?” It is REALLY possible that we have “inherited lies” after all? And that the solution has been right here, and emphasized in THIS Torah portion, all along?
