Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for a look at parsha “Emor” (Leviticus chapters 21 through 24)  which again SOUNDS like a whole lotta ‘stuff’ that we’ve been told is “done away with”, and doesn’t matter anyway, for reasons that turn out to be, well, “Bogus Stuff”.  And it’s very “NOT PC” besides!

In the Erev Shabbat review, that becomes  clear, along with the myriad, REPEATED reasons why it all still matters.

During the Sabbath day teaching, Mark again begins by noting that there’s a lot in the portion that is “Not PC” – because there’s a LOT of this lately, perhaps because those who prefer to call ‘evil,’ good, and then subsidize and mandate it, simply decide what IS ‘politically-correct’ based on what Scripturally-ISN’T.

This is yet another portion that thus touches the heart of so very much that is wrong today, and why.  It only starts with Priests-that-aren’t.
